Buttermilk Pancakes with Chocolate Chips

Ingredients

3 cups all purpose flour
3 tblspns white sugar
3 tspns baking powder
1 1/2 baking soda
3/4 tspns salt
3 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup milk
3 eggs
1/3 cup butter melted (and cooled before adding to mixture)
chocolate chips

Method

In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In a seperate bowl, beat together the milk, buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter.
Keep the two mixtures seperate until ready to cook.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until blended together. (Do not over stir)
Add the chocolate chips (as many has you want)
Scoop batter onto the griddle, brown both sides and serve hot.

Top with your favorite syrup and fresh fruit.
